David Hunt's Description Of Jesus

Jesus is true. He's the one man in all of the universe who will never lie to you; and He takes pleasure in talking with people who want to know the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. If you ask Jesus a question, He will answer you honestly or not at all. One thing is for sure. He will not lie to you. He will answer you without any deceit at all.

Jesus is kind. He has no desire to hurt anyone. If anyone is hurt by what Jesus says, it is because they are unable to receive the truth with pleasure. Jesus tells us the truth because it is the truth that will help us. If we accept what He says, we will be helped; but if we reject what Jesus says, we cannot be helped. Whatever He says to us is out of a desire to help us. He is kind.

Jesus is forgiving. He will not reject anyone who confesses their sins to Him. He will forgive all who are sincere in their confessions. And He will grant repentance to them also, so that they will stop doing sinful things and start doing good things. He is forgiving.

Jesus is powerful. God, His father, gave Jesus total power over all of His creation, when He raised Jesus from the dead. There is nothing in all of the universe that is not subject to the authority of Christ Jesus our Lord. He is able to save, to the uttermost, those who approach God through Him. He can actually blow away evil with the breath of His mouth. He only has to speak and people will be healed and delivered from evil.

Jesus is righteous. There is absolutely nothing evil about Him...nothing. He is totally sincere and honest in everything He says and does. He is just in all of His relationships with everyone. He will never mislead you or misjudge you. He is the "straightest" man alive. You can depend on every word that comes out of His mouth. His words are true because He is truth. He is the light of life, and there is no darkness in Him...none at all.

Jesus cares. When you feel that no one else in the whole world cares about you, you will find out that Jesus cares, if only you will discuss you problems with Him. Then He will point you to people who He has prepared to help you. Believe in Him, and you will experience His care, because He cares for you. Jesus shares. He is wonderful in His giving. He is ready to share His life, His Spirit with you, as soon as you decide that He is worthy of your respect and honor. When your attitude toward Him is respect and honor for who He is, He will answer your prayers and share His Spirit with you. He will give you joy in your trials, peace in your mind, love in your soul, and victory over your enemies. Jesus takes pleasure in sharing His life with people.
